For a few years I stepped away from the full time Dj side of my career focusing on the business side with creating events, curating parties, sound design and playlists for hospitality venues, yeah and some real estate too... But things took a little turn naturally with me Dj'ing more again. So when i asked chat gpt to create a caricature of me and my job based on what it knows about me, it was pretty accurate. ( Dammit that's kinda scary...) 🤖
Old School vibes, vinyl records and youngsters having fun like we used to. No feeling can top that. I kinda stepped away for a few years from Dj'ing cause I was losing the fun out of it, in a oversaturated market of everyone "identifying as a DJ" and focused on creating events like @lifeisashuk and showcasing new talents in the house musc scene and I pride myself in booking and working with talents early in their career who became massive guys in the game like @hugelthug@francismercier@ahmedspins@nicodeandrea_music@sparrow_tortuga@barbossa_dj@joezi_z@moojo.ofc just to name drop a few ;). I am having a lot of fun lately on my spare time going also back to what i loved and what made me successful a long time ago in a galaxy far far away as a Dj... I see the curiosity, the admiration of a young generation for the Vinyl World, organically made music that come from the heart & soul, the artform of real Djing and more. Needless to say it gave me hope and motivation to have fun again without any business expectations . I will announce a new weekly vinyl party that we re creating with friends for the love of music where you come as you are and go with the flow. Where Stevie Wonder, Jamiroquai, Daft Punk, Prince, Michael Jackson, Notorious B.I.G, Masters at Work, Donna Summer and more are replacing the Bad Bunnies of the world.
