I left the music industry in 2008 and thought I lost my chance at doing something big. I got lucky when @djpain1 connected me with @dreamlifebeats in 2018 and we made some music that @logic released. When I got the news that we were on the record, I was in a meeting at a corporate job and my phone was blowing up. It was a moment I’ll never forget as I excused myself from the meeting.
It showed me I could hold down a 9-5 in another industry and make music at night as long as I worked hard and stayed consistent.
I could not have done it without connecting with Pain1 and Dream and their amazing talents and capabilities, for which I am forever grateful.
