It’s been a a few years trying to get a set at Wolfkop. Thank you to the new management team who’ve put their trust in me to play after none other than @darius_syrossian . I love a challenge when it comes to playing an important set where a lot is expected of me. Thank you everyone who flocked the dance floor and danced like there was no tomorrow. Just before Afrikaburn I asked a few musicians to join me for a one-off performance. No planning, no rehearsals — just free-styling. We came together for the first time 30 minutes before our set. After a few technical gremlins got sorted, we settled in and just jammed.
The end result was six musos simply having fun, while a sea of people gathered around us and melted into the moment.
The crowd was completely in tune with us. You could see it on their faces — waves of emotion moving through the dance floor. People letting go, being present, fully appreciating exactly where they were. No distractions, no expectations… just connection.
Behind us, the sun was slowly setting, painting everything in that warm golden glow, while the full moon rose up in front of us — like the whole scene was perfectly timed for what was unfolding. It honestly felt surreal, like we were suspended between two worlds.
We did this performance on the Tulpa art car, and somehow everything just aligned — the sound, the energy, the people, the moment.
There was no ego, no pressure, no script — just instinct, trust, and expression. Six strangers (30 minutes before) speaking the same language without saying a word.
This is why we do it.
Not for perfect sets or polished performances, but for those rare moments where everything clicks… and you can feel that it means just as much to the crowd as it does to you.

The amplifiers are very efficient with incredibly full and clean sound.
This system has a very clean sound with deep, warm and punchy bass detailed mids and crispy clean highs.

What an epic weekend! Thank you @wolfkopweekender for trusting me for your Sunday sunset session at the Boma. To start with an empty dance floor while the headliner is on the main stage is a challenge. But it’s the kind of challenge I love! Thank you for everyone that passed by and stayed! It was an absolute humbling pleasure seeing the dance floor just filling up in a very short time.
Thank you everyone for the love and support. It was epic to spend time with so many friends and familiar faces alike!
