Artist Spotlight - Selectress
After attending Shambhala Music Festival in 2011, Selectress knew she belonged behind the decks. Known for high-energy, immersive sets, she blends drum & bass, jump up ragga, and jungle with deep roots in reggae, soca, and dancehall — delivering a sound that is both technically sharp and impossible to stand still to.
She has brought that energy to stages across Alberta and beyond, including Shambhala Music Festival in 2025 with the DnB Girls, while supporting artists such as REAPER and Rene LaVice.
Expect razor-sharp mixing, nonstop energy, and track selection that keeps the crowd guessing in the best way possible. Selectress knows exactly how to build a dance floor moment - and then push it even further.
