First up we have a gorgeous tune ‘Tidal Wave,’ via jazz saxophonist & vocalist Ronnie Laws released in 1975 on his debut lp ‘Pressure Sensitive.’ Hubert Laws little brother, many of u will also know him from the call & response on Debra Laws (sister) jam ‘Very Special.’
Sampled beautifully by the greats @dabeatminerz@djevildee for Black Moons ‘Who Got Da Props?’ off 93’s Enta Da Stage. (If u saw my last Black Moon post then u know this is one of my fave hip hop LPs everrrrr so more samples to come ;)

I used to play “Can You Feel It ,” over & over on my Fischer price player so much I got in trouble. Like so many 80s babies , Michael has been the soundtrack to my life from the very beginning so this was really special to say the least .
