It’s been 10 years since I immigrated to Australia from Korea. Whenever I visit Korea in a long time, I remind myself how much I am loved and cared by my family and friends. Even though the visit was short, I spent quality time with my loved ones and of course had delicious Korean foods. Thanks to my family and friends who looked after me during my visit and if we couldn’t catch up this time, let’s definitely make it next time! It was so fun with all of you guys. I finally had a chance to catch up with K-Sera, a presenter at Sydney’s No.1 DAB+ station, Cada and experienced the behind scene where all the magic happens.
My DJ mixes have been played every week on her program exclusively since March this year. I am super grateful that I could share my mixes and connect with diverse music lovers outside of club environment.
Creating different mixes every week has been challenging since it requires my commitment(Time 😅), discipline(sometimes I just want to rest on the couch after work) , creativity, and most importantly extensive music knowledge. But somehow I wrack my brain and manage to create something miraculously every week😂 Most interesting part is that I cannot see the listeners reaction visually like I used to see at the clubs 👀
Yet, I sometimes receive DMs and stories how you guys enjoyed, and I really appreciate your feedback! 💕
Although my mixtape journey hasn’t been always fun and easy, I decide to trust the process and enjoy pure joy of music it gives to me.
