The Geometry of Synthesis
Live Audiovisual Activation · Art Dubai Special Edition 2026
Saturday, 16 May · 9:30 PM – 12:00 AM · The Listening Bar
A one-night-only live audiovisual activation featuring three artists and their distinct approaches to dissecting electronic music and sound through hardware production.
PHO is a Colombian-born, UAE-based sound artist and turntablist whose practice moves across vinyl culture, live synthesis, and sound-based commissions in contemporary art. A two-time Red Bull Thre3style world finalist and global top 40 turntablist, he has collaborated with institutions including Art Jameel, ITHRA, NYU Abu Dhabi, and XP Music Futures — and currently develops Conductive Music, an ongoing research project working with metals as sonic material.
Madam Void is the experimental alter ego of Kath Dizon (also known as Manic Mundane) — electronic producer, sonic experimentalist, and interdisciplinary artist working at the volatile edge of hardware synthesis, avant-garde industrial music, sound design, and diaspora-rooted new media and conceptual practice. Her work has been presented at Jameel Arts Centre, Dubai Design Week, Quoz Arts Fest, and the Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennale.
Tacit is the project of Aaron Kim — cellist, sound designer, and modular artist trained classically from the age of ten. His live sets build from a jazz and classical foundation into hard-edged, industrial hardware performance. Resident artist at Analog Room and Erica Synth Garage.
Live visuals by Memoryall — the Dubai-based audiovisual studio of Yasha Estrada and Martin Ong, working across projection mapping, experimental visuals, and sound-driven installation. Their practice transforms architectural space into cinematic, sensory environments, tracing the intersections of memory, geometry, and human perception. Their work has been shown at Sharjah Biennial, Sikka Art & Design Festival, and Jameel Arts Centre.
Curated and presented by Soundlab by RAW Music Store and Vinyl Souk.
