I get told every now and then that I’m “too old” to still be DJing (turning 50 this year haha), but I’ve always just brushed it off and kept doing what I love. If anything, this nomination proves that passion, experience and connection on the dancefloor matter more than age ever will. I’ve never been nominated for a DJ award before, so I’m genuinely flattered and very grateful to everyone who voted for me. It really does mean a lot to feel recognised for something you put your heart into. I’m lucky to play at some incredible venues and events across Melbourne, and I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has come along to one of my sets, danced, supported me, requested songs, or simply shared a moment on the dancefloor with me over the years.

When I lived in Sydney, Eneais and I were basically inseparable… so many wild, fun memories. Then I moved to London, and when I came back I ended up in Melbourne, so life got in the way and we lost that regular contact. Had such a good time at Osborne Sundays today. The vibe was amazing, everyone was so friendly and just easy to be around, no attitude at all.
