I must admit I’m pretty down about the lack of festivities. So in the spirit of it all here’s some of my favorite memories from playing the Fall Welcome Concert for the last 7 years, plus other great shows
NYE MILL AVE, TEMPE, ARIZONA

This year has me missing what use to be the annual Tempe Block Party on Mill. Glad to have been apart of it on its final year where I was set up on a rooftop at 5th and Mill, supporting the main stage and @chaserice .

Funny story is that when I rolled in for my call at 4:30pm, I got the news that they needed me to ring in the new year, which was not the original plan. I had to scramble to make the call that all DJs dream to plan. That first song to play when the clock strikes midnight.

I honestly have no recollection of what I played that night but god damn it was a party to rage with 20,000 people and will be a moment in life I’ll never forget.
.
And what a better time to not focus on the past or future, but enjoy the moments with our friends and fam on nights like these. So fuck resolutions, focus on the ones around you and appreciate what we have. After the last almost 2 years there’s a lot to be appreciative for and to enjoy, because it’s easy to lose sight that dance floors were all but nonexistent a year ago.
