After going through multiple boxes while moving I came across an article from The NY Times mentioning this remix I did for @aliciakeys back in 2004. Multiple bootlegs were put out which finally ended up in a remix deal I signed with J Records. Swipe left you can see the 45 I used the version of Gregory Isaac’s “New Lover,”which was on the Columbus Riddim compilation which stems from Burning Spear’s song “Columbus.”The actual hit of the riddim was Beres Hammond’s “Come Down Father.”
I learned a lot about music from then on and how timely entertainment can be. Thank you to all that supported!!! It only launched me further into the world of music production.
Lot of stories behind this that are way too many to post!! Maybe one day I’ll get to tell it.
