This guy's name is Fatlip. He's with a group called The Pharcyde which i was the DJ for. Im called the "Original" DJ but if you get technical, J Swift was the first and Smooche Cat was also the first. They were going to ask Big Boy from the radio (he wasn't on radio then) to be their DJ. Ironically, all 4 of them just happened to be at a club in Hollywood that my man Eka was throwing and I came thru and DJed. I was scratching with DJ Alladdin. The next day Fatlip called me and asked me if I wanted to spin for the group. The rest is history. While I respect all the members of the Pharcyde, Fatlup holds a special place. He was always champion me to DJ when some doubted me. He always stayed in touch with the new hip hop shit. And he was funny. Plus he kept it real. Sometimes too real. But I loved that shit.
