Last night I learned that I threw SiR’s first ever solo show.

He recounted the story of me bringing him out for our (formerly) annual @GDNSS /The @DenverSolution holiday party, crashing at my apartment & the infamous late night #ChezLowKey dining situation at last night’s Denver show. I knew that was his first CO trip and that things were just starting to take off in his career (he was secretly signed to TDE but still working at Guitar Center), but had no idea it was his first ever solo show - thanks for the heads up from the show @JosephMrtnz & @303mp (if anyone has video, please send it over)!
It was powerful and much-needed reminder that you never know who, how or when you might get reminded who tf are you and what wild things you’ve accomplished.
Shouts to @KennyAndTheIceCream on the intro to SiR, @GoRonnie for putting me on pre-Seven Sundays (@TheCafeteriaLine is forever ahead of y’all’s time), @DJLazyEyez for partnering with me on the party & @Christine_Sweredoski for suggesting and supporting those holiday parties in the first place.
Last but definitely not least, shouts to all the wonderful folks rocking with me and supporting the parties - it’s because of the community and accumulated trust that all these special functions and occasionally historic moments can take place and I can’t thank y’all enough 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Last month at The @DenverSolution , me & @DJAmen were having too much fun on the turntables and started talking about playing more R&B together - album cuts, sleepers, remixes, covers, b-sides and all the other music we love, but don’t really hear out.
Fast forward a month & we’re teaming up for Sweet Talk on 4/18, a night of exquisite R&B at our favorite plant bar, The @MarigoldDenver ! Plan on everything R&B, old and new, except the obvious jams that we all need a break from (sorry “Can We Talk”, “Candy Rain”, “Love” & so on).
We’ll be digging deep in our crates, starting at 8pm with no cover - hopefully you can join in the fun…
