Grateful for the experience of the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final in Los Angeles. We brought the city together showcasing the culture to the dance world for a truly special week. My team worked tirelessly on this project for over two years, and I can honestly say I felt nothing but excitement being part of this event.
A lot of dreams became a reality! I hope everyone enjoyed their time this past week.

It’s official: September 14th is DJ Lean Rock Day in Boston. Grateful to the city that raised me. This one’s for my parents, my family, my crew, my mentors, the community, and everyone who believed in me.
Much love to my crew @floorlordsboston for making this Floorlords Anniversary weekend memorable, and thank you to @juliaforboston and the City Council for the honor!
20 Years of DJing
Even though I’ve stepped into a new chapter, the love for music is still there.
The music brought me to over 35 countries, connected me with dancers around the world, and created some memorable moments in the scene.

I’m proud to announce my memoir, THESE ARE THE BREAKS!, is available now!
This book tells my journey of resilience—the highs, the pressure, the mental toll—and how I found growth, healing, and purpose through it all.
It addresses the unspoken struggles many of us carry in our community. Whether you’re a practitioner, scholar, or fan of Hip Hop culture, there’s insight and history within these pages.
This project took years to build! Most bookstores and libraries have shelves of rap music literature, but almost nothing from the Breaking or DJ perspective. More than a personal story, it’s a blueprint for others in the culture to share their truth.
As I continue to reflect on this path, and with 2025 marking 20 years of DJing, I’m releasing an exclusive THESE ARE THE BREAKS! anniversary mix to accompany the memoir.
Thank you to everyone who inspired and continues to support me along the way!
Available in two editions:
Classic Print (Monochrome) $19.99
Premium Color (Full color) $29.99

Another year around the sun and…
I’m excited to announce that my memoir, “These Are The Breaks,” will be released on March 25th, 2025.
This book is about the struggles, the growth, and the lessons that come with being a bboy, DJ, music producer, and event organizer. I wanted to share the realities of mental health and resilience in the Hip Hop community, while reflecting on the moments that shaped me and the people who inspired me along the way.
March 25th is more than a release date for me. Twenty years ago, on this exact day in 2005, I stepped into the role of DJ for the first time. I’ll always be grateful to Ken Swift for trusting a young kid with that responsibility, and to my dad for giving me the push I needed.
To celebrate this full circle moment, I’ll be releasing a mix with the book. This is my way of honoring the journey, reflecting on the past two decades, and saying thanks to everyone who’s been part of it.
