2025 has honestly been one of the hardest years of my life. It’s been a non-stop series of challenges that pushed me to my limits.
It all started in January when I got laid off from a company I spent 7 years at. Then in February, my mom had a terrible accident that left her with 3rd-degree burns, which worsened her dementia. By March, we moved her to Miami, hoping she’d find peace, but by May she refused to stay, which caused tension within the family. Meanwhile, I was dealing with my own health issue, landing me in the hospital in April with AFIB for 2 weeks. September hit even harder when I lost one of my best friends to cancer just two days before my birthday.
The whole time, I was struggling to make ends meet—paying bills, rent, car loans, and food. I was juggling DJ gigs and doing whatever I could to survive. But somehow, despite everything, I kept going.
Towards the end of 2025, I found a new job with amazing people who’ve truly been a blessing. I didn’t give up, even when life felt hopeless. I owe so much to the friends who stuck by me and helped me along the way. You know who you are.
I made it through the chaos, and even though it wasn’t easy, I survived. I couldn’t have done it without the support of everyone who played a part, big or small. I’m so thankful for each one of you.
Here’s to 2026. Hoping it’s a better year for all of us.
