On this day last year I was getting released from the hospital after spending 5 days in there due to what the doctor told me, "a heart attack". It was a wake up call like no other. I admit I wasn't eating healthy all the time and plus the drinking, eating late and not getting enough sleep added to the cause. Living the dj lifestyle can sometimes if your not careful take a toll on you. I've been doing it since 1987 but professionally since after 1992. Time flies...one year since almost seeing the otherside. Grateful and blessed to have a 2nd chance in Life and still to be doing what I love to do (with some new lifestyle changes). As of today.... I'm 1 year Sober now (My tequila days are in the past). A change in a healthier diet has helped me shed the weight. Getting better sleep now. Exercise from time to time as well (biking, swimming, walking). Getting plenty of Sun (Vitamin D). Thanks for all your positive messages throughout the year. And to my fellow dj friends, take care of yourselves and find that balance between your health and music. ❤️🙏❤️
