After writing the album, I decided to reach out to selected fellow artists to see if we could get some remixes done, what came out of it is bigger than I’d imagine when I started. I approached each of them describing the idea for the album, played them some tracks and left them with a simple brief “Progressive Freeform”. In the next days we will be premiering teasers for set of remixes included on Ponzi Math LP, spanning through various generations of producers representing technically inclined drum and bass sound. If you haven't, you should consider doing so. 😉 While the many projects I am involved with keep me quite busy, I have also prepared (and am preparing) a lot of new DJ Hidden material. The reason: I have decided to go ahead with the organic album concept. I have expanded the idea a little, though. Since I do not want tracks to go lost, I have decided to bundle selected tracks that I consider 100% in separate EPs that will be released through all other digital channels. This gives people who aren't fond of Bandcamp the option to still get them and it allows me to remove tracks from the main project more easily without feeling they're lost when I do. I first thought of shifting them to other album projects but that unnecessarily complicates things. So... the main project will be this evolving album while the side projects will be these EPs. I realize I haven't been posting as frequently here as I used to but time really becomes an issue when you are writing as much music as I do and well... I prefer writing music over social media any day - so I have just been doing stories and reels. If you would like me to post longer stories like this one, please let me know and I will try to. For now, I can simply tell you I am excited for this album to develop! Oh, yeah... it will likely be called In [to] Sanity.
