I’ve been putting this off for a while now, but I’ve finally took the leap to start Podcasting! As you know I quite like to be in front of the camera and presenting, but I never thought I could host my own podcast show, until now. What better way to kick things off than by interviewing Nuno Costa, Co-Founder and Managing Director of CRANK. We dive into his journey, the challenges of building one of Dubai’s most loved fitness brands, and what it really takes to bring an idea to life. Here’s a little sneak peak.

From bars, beach clubs and festivals to performing at the Asia Football Cup 2019 to 40,000+ people, Darryl has covered it. Darryl has warmed up for some of the biggest names in the music industry such as Dash Berlin, R3hab, Bassjackers and supported Rudimental and Fatboy Slim to name a few. Being Flash Entertainment’s go to DJ, Darryl has supported the likes of Lionel Ritchie, Pitbul, Mumford and Sons, Calvin Harris and P!nk at the Abu Dhabi F1 after race concerts. Timeout Awards Best DJ Nominee and even runner up (against 250 DJs) in the Pioneer Middle East DJ competition. It is safe to say Darryl is a well respected DJ in the region, He has held residencies at some award winning venues such Zero Gravity (Winner of best nightclub, What’s On Dubai Awards and winner of best beach club Timeout Dubai) Barasti and Candypants. It’s been a mentally challenging couples of months I’m not gonna lie. Going through a break up, having events cancelling left right and center, not being able to be on stage and do what I love doing, very little income coming in. But as you do, you put on a brave face and a smile. Today was one of those moments where I just sat on the beach after a little surf and run with @jumeirahjohnsrunningclub , looked out to the sea with the burj al Arab in the background and just thought wow, how freaking lucky I am. 🙏
