Say hello to my first ever recorded mix/video! I put together a set of chilled out indie, day-time disco, low key house, electro, and synth-pop, and my buddy @daltoncampbell was kind enough to have me over to his place where he filmed it. I did it it one take, and although it's not perfect (that's not the point right?), I am proud of it, and I think Dalton did an amazing job of making it look and sound great. Saturday night at @rougeroomlv was, without a doubt, one of my favorite gigs I've ever done. The entire evening was magical, the energy was beautiful, and the vibes were immaculate. Everyone involved absolutely killed it, and I was honored to be a part of it. Massive thanks to @dabeull for coming out and blessing us with the fonk, @blakegnania for orchestrating the whole thing and making it happen, @night.weapons for spinning with me and being the best damn mentor/partner I could ever ask for, @funkyruben for always inspiring me and being a gem of a human, @mx.s_av for making sure everything sounded perfect and @colexcurtis for capturing the whole thing so well.
Hi there! Is this thing still on? If you're wondering what happened to this account, well, here's the answer. Three years ago, I quit my job and went full-time spinning records for a living. And what a wild ride it's been! I have completely fallen back in love with music (after burning myself and my passion for it out by the time I got to the end of my run as touring live musician) and developed an even deeper connection to it than I believe I've ever had before. In order to make this dream a reality, I have dedicated myself entirely to DJing and growing my collection. Unfortunately, as an unintended consequence of this shift, my photography has gone by the wayside. However, I have not fallen off completely, and I have full intention to resurrect that practice and this account with it. I have a handful of rolls that have already been developed and half a dozen more sitting in my fridge that I've shot and will soon drop off at the lab. But it felt appropriate to come back here with a meeting of these two worlds, so here are a few views from my many digs and the countless hours I've spent flipping through crates in record stores all over.

Here's a little recap of the show last night at @threestarpunkbar inside @thepunkrockmuseum ! @victorjonesmusic was absolutely rapturous, and I was thrilled and honored to get to open up for him. It made me very proud that the good people of Las Vegas showed up for him in a major way, not just by turning out but clearly displaying so much love and support and by singing along throughout his set. Too many times have I seen an up and coming act play this town to an unenthused and underwhelming audience, and that was absolutely not the case yesterday. Cheers to Victor for being here and bringing it, and to everyone who came out. Big thanks to @missinganimal for making the whole thing happen and including me. It was lovely to see a lot of familiar faces and also to meet a bunch of kind lovely people I had not yet met. I really appreciate all the kind words and the love 🙏🤘
