After so many years of waiting for Unsound to roll around so I can see fave artists from around the world and discover new ones and lose myself in dance and see all my friends in one spot, I get to play for my friends and fave artists at Unsound 2026 and it's a dream come true. I might retire after this.

OUR YARD is a POC collective based on Kaurna Land. Grown out of a love and reverence for the sonic cultures of the Global South and its diaspora, with a heavy UK sound influence, it’s aim is to bring together BIPOC artists and communities from both home and abroad. Having hosted artists such as SOVBLKPSSY, RONA, Freshta and Izco, Authentically Plastic and a swag of local up and coming BIPOC artists, OUR YARD is here for the community.

@bau.artist has hit the scene on Kaurna Yerta with a force in the last couple of years. A producer and DJ, Max drives the decks with a penchant for bass and UK steppers, filled with emotion and light yet not scared to get heavy when needed.
@kxurset , another producer and DJ emerging from the Kaurna Plains, blends diasporic chaos with club-ready sounds, her South Asian roots curating a sound that's hard not to succumb to. A new face of Our Yard and further afield, she will lead us into the night steadily.
Finally, our yard auntie @djcookie____ will be our nightcap, with signature percussive bass and drums to keep you on the floor til the early hours. She will be joined by a dear special friend of Our Yard who runs this town...
