DJ Chefal Dubplate Special
Tomorrow night (Friday 16th May), one of dubstep’s original pioneers, @djchefal , will take the stage with a “dubplate special” set. As a foundational figure present at the genre’s inception, Chefal has had rare access to some of dubstep’s most influential artists. Through his work at the legendary Transition Mastering Studios alongside Jason Goz and LD, he’s become a true dubplate connoisseur, with one of the most revered collections in the scene to prove it.
For a little taste of what to expect tomorrow night, Chefal offered a rare dig through his most prized dubplates, featuring early cuts from legends like Skream, Benga, and Digital Mystikz, along with a trove of his infamous VIPs and specials. As we sifted through the collection, he shared the stories and history behind each plate, offering a glimpse into the roots and evolution of the genre. Full video out soon.

@joenicedj needs no introduction, suffice to say if you've ever been hunting for a long lost dub on youtube only to find an american??? accent introducing it, it's Joe. Couple that with Chef's collection and you've basically got everything covered. as in like, everything. back to back for the ages! Joe's also handpicked the rest of the lineup and has stacked it out with a set of unreal DJs from all over the UK and i'm gassed to see Breakfake and Felixculpah back with us after the boat, it's a proper family affair! Joes only playing TWO gigs in the UK, the other one being RaveAid in Leeds which I implore you to reach or support if you can, all proceeds to Palestine. But if you can't then come shake a leg! you'll be glaaad you did x
