My 1st Jazz Mixtape Release party on Oct, 8th (Sat). Our label "C3 Lab" have not done an event like FOREVER! And this will be a blast!!!!
...I had enormous time to think about what I really want to do in my life just like other people after Covid-19. And it was the beginning of this Mixtape project when aqui dela and I visited King of Dope "DJ KRUSH's one man DJ Live" in Shibuya on March, 26th. The show was awesome enough to inspire us.
Aqui and I planned out making Jazz Mixtape which is made only by vinyls, which has a meaning to the stance of C3 LAB label and myself. I started to collect my old favorite songs and old 70's Jazz, some called Spiritual Jazz & Raregrooves in analog since then. I have only been PCDJ ever since the game changer "Scratch Live" came out in the DJ Scene about 15 years ago. Using only vinyls are huge challenge to me.
C3 LAB had many events back in time, however; C3's president, aqui dela, decided to focus on producing more Lo-Fi albums on Cassette Tapes, we decided not to throw events for almost 3 years.
Also the decision "not to do event" was lead by disappearance of our friend, talented beatmaker, "JUNNAGAOSA" for his serious relationship with his life partner. We have his contact and still could talk to him, but we decided to leave him be because we do not want C3 to be his burden. We want him to be happy.
This time, we are to throw Jazz Mixtape release event for our newest project using only vinyls. The Mixtape is like culmination of my DJ Career starting from Study Abroad in Texas. I am really appreciated to everybody I met in my life and inspired me for my music sense. Everything I acquired is in it.

コロナ禍を経て色々考えることがあり、兼ねてより縁のあったC3 LABより、僕のDJとしての初めての作品をリリースすることになりました。
C3 LABは、ある時期からカセットテープによるビートアルバムのリリースのみに集中することを方針に変え、数年前からは定期イベントの開催は辞めていました。
今回は新しい企画として、Jazzのアナログレコードのみを利用したMix Tapeリリースを開始したため、改めてイベントを開催する運びとなりました。
アメリカ留学時から始まった僕のDJキャリアの集大成ですので、お時間ある方はお越しいただけますと幸いです。
