Roesh is a Manchester-based DJ, host and radio presenter, known for platforming emerging talent and shaping the sound of the city. As the face of BBC Music Introducing on BBC Radio Manchester, he’s been responsible for giving countless artists their first radio plays, while also hosting on BBC 6 Music and representing Manchester on national stages.
From hosting the Introducing stage at the 6 Music Festival to being selected for BBC Radio 1’s Christmas Presenter Takeover, Roesh continues to bridge grassroots talent with major platforms.
Beyond radio, he’s DJed across clubs, festivals and major cultural events — including serving as the Official Manchester Originals DJ for The Hundred (2021–2024). He also curates line-ups, hosts events and delivers masterclasses, actively shaping pathways for artists coming up.
He’ll be joining the cultural conversation at
MOBO Fringe x Studio 88 — Manchester Made: Roots, Rhymes & The Future, bringing insight on artist discovery, platform building and the power of radio in breaking new talent.
This isn’t just a panel — it’s real perspective from someone consistently opening doors and amplifying the culture.
