Label boss Aroy Dee rekindles a romance for this particular seam of late ‘80s interest with a gorgeous love note to Larry Heard and Terrace on dusted and harmonised pads of ‘Touch’, and chimes in with mastering supremo and producer MaSpaventi on the darker pressure of ‘Horizons’, with leaves deep bassline helming ghostly chords and a seriously rude tear-out acid line, like NWAQ on a dead moody one. Flip side they fuse forces for a gritty, tweaked-out swinger ‘Wired’ chattering with an early AI techno quality akin early B12, before saluting the likes of early Joey Beltram and Belville Three under occluded west coast skies on the sinuous, grinding drive of ‘All forgotten’.
