Who is DJ Geilo?
I’d like to tell you a short story. It was a warm summer night in June 2018. After playing all night long until 5 a.m. at a birthday party, I wanted to kick out the last men standing. Inspired by the euphoria of the night, a good friend of mine summarized his feelings: „Geil, geil, geil; einfach DJ Geilo!“ From that day on, I couldn’t get away from the alias. Years later, I accepted my fate.
I started spinning records eight years ago. From playing mostly birthday parties for friends and friends of friends to my first official bookings, it was always through word of mouth that I got my gigs as a DJ.
