We round of Stengade Vinterjazz Festival 2026 program on February 28th with an evening of doom jazz with Nausia & a live debut by Neðanfari! NATDISK afterwards with DJ Circle-Work Spanning from high-intensity fretting, with a repetitive horn-section backed up by sharp and tight percussion, we cross the palette and are catapulted with reminiscents of transcendental, free-jazz and the avant-garde. Nausia explores the wide variety of jazz in 2025, including riffy rock guitars, double saxophone colossus vibes and a new inclusive progressive jazz vibe. Neðanfari's musical foundation is built on inspiration from classic stoner and doom rock, but takes the genre further by exploring different pentatonic scales and previously forbidden tonal intervals. The classic rock setup with drums, bass and guitar adds magnificent Icelandic vocals, baritone saxophone, theremin and percussion.
