When almost all the students gave me cards and signed them after learning that I lost my brother… wow. I’m truly touched and blessed. Moments like this remind me how much love and kindness still exist in this world.

Everyone grieves differently. I choose to grieve by celebrating his life one more time, the way he asked me to.

This is a poem that I wrote for my brother.
My brother, my blood, my guide,
How can words describe this emptiness inside?
Your departure broke a part of me,
As if the world itself lost its voice completely.
You were so much more than a brother,
A pillar, a light through every storm and winter,
The one who believed in me without hesitation,
Even when I was filled with doubt and frustration.
I remember your words, your strength,
The hope in your eyes, so natural, so immense,
You told me to keep going, to never fall apart,
And today, it’s for you that I move forward with my heart.
The pain is deep, and it does not lie,
But your love still walks with me through life,
It lives within me, in every step I take,
In every victory I promise to make in your name.
So today, I do not say goodbye,
I simply say thank you, with tears in my eyes,
Thank you for the man you helped me become,
Thank you for giving me the strength to keep moving on.
And even if my heart cries from your absence,
I choose to celebrate your presence,
Because your love does not die, it travels with me…
