Hello Friends — I wrote a little anthem called “Shop Local” because honestly… we’re watching giant corporations swallow whole communities while small businesses — especially women-owned, queer-owned, Black- and brown-owned — keep us alive.
With the mass blackout, the protests, and everything happening right now, this feels even louder: where you spend your money IS a protest. Every dollar is a vote for the world you actually want to live in.
So this song is just me reminding you (and myself):
Support your neighbors. Support creatives. Support the weird, the indie, the spicy, the local.
If you can avoid the Big Box vortex… do it.
If you can shift even one purchase away from the online machine… do it.
It matters. It’s power. It’s community preservation.
