Exciting announcement!!! 👊🏽💥
Excited to officially introduce one of our new instructors for Season 2026/2027 - Dizzylock all the way from Montreal! 🇨🇦
At Pound It Hip Hop Studio, we stay committed to bringing real culture, real knowledge, and high-level professional instructors to our community so our dancers can continue to grow the right way.
Dizzylock will be sharing not only the history and foundations, but also training in multiple authentic Street and Club styles including Waacking, Campbellocking, Hip Hop, House, and Breaking. He came and taught his first workshops for our studio last October and fell in love with the drive and energy of our students and community. He has returned 2 more times since and is now making the next steps to move here🎉🎉
How crazy is that?! Red Deer… we leveling up again. 💯

🎙️ Keeping It Real with @dizzylock
Talent is powerful, but talent without understanding and discipline in the business side gets exploited.
Artists need to understand pricing, contracts, communication, and how to conduct business with others. The discipline of business protects your art’s value, builds trust, and creates long-term opportunities.
Being creative doesn’t mean avoiding business, it means owning your worth, your relationships, and your future. #keepingitrealpodcast

🔥 Which way is dance going? The culture keeps evolving, from the streets to the stage, from cyphers to global platforms, but one thing stays true: the essence. Street styles like locking, waacking, and hip-hop continue to carry the heart, soul, and stories of the people who live this movement.
🎙️ On the next episode of Keeping It Real, I’m hyped to welcome Dizzy Lock, all the way from Montreal, a true representative of the dance and the culture. We’re diving deep into his journey, his perspective on where the scene is heading, and how we keep the realness alive in today’s dance world. 🗣️🎙️#keepingitreal
