This Black History Month, we’re highlighting Black-owned businesses that help shape Chicago’s neighborhoods.
📍 Majani Food Emporium Inc (@majanivegancuisine ) is a South Shore favorite serving soulful, plant-based comfort food with deep roots in the community. What began as a catering business has grown into a go-to spot known for bold flavors and thoughtful cooking. 🌱🧆
Getting there by bike is easy. 🚲 Majani is close to a Divvy public bike rack at Yates Blvd & Exchange Ave and just a short ride from the Lakefront Trail, with a nearby Divvy station at South Shore Dr & 71st St. A South Shore spot worth showing up for and supporting. 🩵
