With AMIRA01, moora° rec. opens a new 7“ Series rooted in Afro Jazz yet reaching far beyond, the series explores the interaction of dub, rhythm, and improvisation.
For its first chapter, AMIRA 01, schani, Karamandi & edmond wells shape a warm and organic fusion of sounds. The A-side, composed by schani & Karamandi, sits at the heart of Afro Jazz — driven Instrumental, the B-side, led by edmond wells & schani, takes this foundation further into dub territory.
Both tracks were developed between 2023 and 2025, and now finally find their form on vinyl , every step — production, mastering, artwork and pressing — grew organically out of our immediate circle, making this release a genuine full circle moment.
AMIRA 01 will be available from May 1st via Bandcamp, selected record stores, and on all streaming platforms. A limited run of hand-stamped 7” vinyl — including a few special editions — restricted to 100 copies.
