These songs carry so much of my heart because they were the last ones I wrote for the love of my life. From the moment she came into my world, she changed it completely. She inspired me in ways I didn’t even know I needed. I was ready to close my chapter in music and start a new chapter with her, building a life, a future, a family together 👨👩👧
She had the gentlest soul, the biggest heart, and a kind of love that made everyone around her feel safe and seen. She believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, and she stood by me through everything.
I don’t know what the future looks like now, but I do know I’m going to keep living in a way that honors her. I’ll make sure her little one grows up knowing just how incredible her mom was and how deeply she was loved.

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share on here...I recently lost my other half...I still can't process everything that's going on right now nor do I want to believe this. I don’t know how to say goodbye to someone I was never meant to live without. You weren’t just my girlfriend..you were my future, my calm, my home. I was so close to asking you to be my wife. I had it planned out already. I was going to take you to Amsterdam where I’d finally get down on one knee and ask you to spend forever with me. Forever was supposed to be ours babygirl💖 I wanted to leave music so we can finally start our next chapter in life and open a coffee shop with you..I don’t know how to move forward in a world where you don’t exist mi amor....

It’s been a month since my other half left this world, and it still doesn’t feel real. Coming home every day without hearing your voice, without being able to tell you I made it home safe from work or even from running errands, is something I’m still learning how to live with. I don’t know how to fully move forward or what life is supposed to look like now, but I do know this...everything I do I will always carry you with me.
You inspired me in ways I’ll never be able to fully put into words. Every idea, every melody, every step forward reminds me of you. Today I’m releasing two songs that I wrote for her when she was still around. "Without You" and "Traces of You".
These songs came from the moments when she was simply away from me or when missing her felt heavy, but I still had the comfort of knowing she’d come back. Now..they carry a completely different meaning. Now they hold the reality of missing you in a way I never could’ve imagined..
What hurts the most and also means everything to me is that I showed her these songs before she left this world..She heard them. She knew they were about her. That connection will live with me forever.

Kinda late post but it's been a crazy week for me..I found out that one of aunts passed away yesterday..I was really close to her growing up....ngl that really got to me. I found out right before I had to take my final..I wasn't sure if I was able to get through it but I managed to keep going and made sure I passed that final for her 🙏🏻💖

This section of the song was a reference to my old song called Reverie. When I was writing the lyrics I wanted to throw in that reference since Reverie was one of the first songs that kinda got out there and the first song I wrote lyrics for 🥲 I thought it would be cool to revisit that theme.
