Have you ever noticed how the most beautiful things in life have the most intense refining process? Take gold and silver for instance… In order for it to become the item that we all know and love it must first be located, extracted from the earth, CRUSHED, then SMELTED at around 1,948 degrees Fahrenheit.
Ok. Maybe you don’t like those things lol. But I’m sure that we can all appreciate some nice marble flooring or countertops… When researching the refining of marble I found that it must first be located then extracted through intense drilling and BLASTING. Once extracted its then CUT into even smaller pieces, treated with chemicals, and POLISHED all to become the beautiful interior that we know and love.
Take wine for instance. In order for it to be, the grapes must first be crushed. There is no way around it. You simply CANNOT enjoy the delicacy of wine without first CRUSHING the grape to extract it. Meaning that we must completely give up being a grape to become wine. (Bishop TD Jakes) But when we decide to give up being a grape… OH MANNN!!
As stated in Zechariah 13:9, when going through the fire of challenging circumstances it’s going to be tough. But I’m here to tell you that we don’t have to go through this alone… we really weren’t even designed to. There’s someone amazing who wants to help us through it all, someone who wants to show us to not only know how great He is but to also EXPERIENCE HIS GREATNESS, someone who wants you to know just how much He loves you… And His name is Jesus. The last 13 months haven’t been the easiest… But I’m still standing and it’s been so much easier with the Lord at my side.
