Yay new signs! ๐๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ๐ณ๏ธโ๐ So great to see these going up around the town.
If you like them, do let the businesses displaying them know. They've been so supportive and friendly when we were giving them out.
If you'd like one, DM me or contact the Town Council directly.

We gave out free Pride packs and posters to businesses in Dorchester today. What a lovely response from people! We are going to need to get more posters printed for sure.
This is part of Dorchester's second Pop Up Pride in June. Lots of events going on around the town. Watch this space for more info ๐
If you have a business in Dorchester and would like a poster or free Pride decorations DM me or contact Dorchester Town Council and I'll get one over to you.
Thanks Dorchester Town Council and the wonderful team for helping to make this happen ๐๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ๐ณ๏ธโ๐

Super excited for our little launch next week. I love this new book. It's designed to help children think about the kind of world they want to live in.
We'd love to see you at our little event next Tuesday in London. It's at The Commons Press book shop at their brand new venue and we're so pleased to be launching there.
Come along and chat to us about how we made the book and why we're so excited to share it with teachers.
Swipe for more info.

This DRAFT doc makes it harder for trans kids to be themselves in school and harder for school staff too.
Today and tomorrow you can make your thoughts and feelings known. You don't need to complete every box in the consultation - you can just give your opinion on 3 relevant questions (33-35)
If you'd like ideas and pointers on things you could say, The Proud Trust has produced a really helpful document. The easiest thing is to go through the links on their insta @the_proud_trust
All children deserve to use the names, pronouns and toilets that feel right for them. Every child deserves to explore their own identity, in their own time
Giving your opinion really makes a difference. Make sure your thoughts are recorded. When we speak up we effect change ๐๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ

Always and forever! I'm so proud of my trans and non-binary family members and friends, living their best lives, being themselves.

I love going back to my regular schools and seeing the effect of all the inclusive work that happens year round. My sessions are interesting little conversations but it's the hard work of the teachers, helping children think about equality, fairness, respect and difference all year round, that really has such a positive effect.
Also now I'm running more parent info sessions and the conversations are so useful. Most parents are already happy with the sessions, which is great. When those that have questions or concerns hear what is actually happening in my sessions, they are almost all supportive.
Parents and carers know that helping children accept differences benefits all children. It has been lovely meeting parents and having the chance to talk to them face to face ๐๐ณ๏ธโ๐๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ
My lovely friend Jo, is looking for LGBTQ+ teachers who would be happy to take part in some research.
I've known Jo for ages and they're a very nice person. So if you'd like to find out a bit more about this, please do get in touch with them. They will treat you with respect and kindness.
If you're wondering whether to get involved (it's not a huge commitment btw) do ask for more info.
Research helps all of us, of course. When we know more about how things work well, we can make places better for everyone ๐๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
