Continuing on this massive art share, I think it’s time to once again show you this amazing piece by @veeteemin and @divebound.studio
I’ve been working with the Divebound team a lot over the last year to create the most epic illustrations for The Bound and The Broken Trading Card Game and this was the one that made me go “These guys understand this series.”
I give you, Calen Bryer, Warden of Varyn. And Valerys, son of Valacia.
Calen Bryer is not the hero that legends demanded, but he has the will to become one. He wanted nothing of this war, but he will rise so that’s others rise with him. He will stand when the world bids him kneel.

And now it’s time for an art reveal that is extra special. I’ve been looking forward to seeing an Isildan and a Darvakin illustrated into real life for quite a while now. I know you might only have seen them for the first time in Of Empires and Dust, but the Narvonan culture has been in my head for years.
Isildans are Narvonan champions who were suits of armour crafted entirely from Atalus shell – a pearlescent material as strong as steel that can absorb energy from the Spark. They ride into battle wielding massive glaives astride savage darvakin. They are warriors of legend, respected even by the Draleid of old.
This illustration is just... flawless.
And this particular character is one we’ve met but not by name. We’ll see her soon 😎
The hero of the battle of Antiola, Isildan Nashiri is one of the greatest warriors to have ever drawn breath on the continent of Narvona. A childhood friend of Princess Kayala Latrak, she now guards the princess with her life. Astride her darvakin, Leshra, Nashiri has never lost a battle. Her presence alone is said to burn the fear from the hearts of any under her command.
She is a true champion of Narvona, an Isildan by all and any measure.

I’d been holding off for a while for a few reasons, but now feels like the time to introduce you to the young, Alvira Serris.
You know Alvira Serris, Archon of the Draleid. But there was a time before that, a time when Alvira did not stand at the tip of the spear. A time when Alvira was nothing more than a guardian, a warrior who fought against the darkness that threatened to swallow her world whole.
