District Loom led the vintage rug sourcing, alterations and custom contemporary rug production for this Newport Beach Residence designed by @discinteriors
Each rug was thoughtfully selected and curated in dialogue with the home’s architecture, material selections, and color story.
The project is featured in the latest issue of LUXE Interiors + Design. @luxemagazine
In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing the story of each rug, space by space. In the meantime, explore the full portfolio and project story in our Journal — Link in bio.

Kicking off a collaboration post series with @wellxdesign to celebrate the @voguemagazine feature. For each space, @districtloom reviewed mood boards and site photos, partnered with the homeowner and designer Lauren to lock in ideal dimensions, then tapped our global supplier network to curate vintage rug options aligned to the design direction—selecting materials that perform beautifully for the function of each room.
Over the next three posts, we’ll share the pieces that made the cut and why. We hope you enjoy glimpses of these @districtloom vintage rugs sourced with intention and care for this @wellxdesign project. Thank you, @voguemagazine for the feature. Follow along, save for sourcing notes, and tell us which room catches your eye the most!
Two stories, one narrative. For this stair we composed a suite of six vintage runners—each hand-selected to carry a shared color story and compatible motifs. Scale, border rhythm, and color story were considered at every turn, so the sequence reads as a single thought rather than six separate pieces. Thoughtful sourcing, a trained eye, and a lot of editing made it feel effortless.
Swipe to follow the progression from first tread to final landing. Save for sourcing notes and tell us your favorite!

Mid-century form meets centuries-old craft. @dustydeco gets it: timeless design isn’t about matching eras, it’s about honoring materiality, proportion, and the quiet confidence of pieces built to last. Their furniture doesn’t compete with vintage textile, it creates it’s own world.
We carry a curated selection of @dustydeco because some things belong together, even when they were made 50 years apart.
