Directing @diljitdosanjh for @spotifyindia has really made me felt like I am doing something for my homeland, almost for the first time in my ten year career in Bombay. There’s definitely something in hearing a language you were born with, while being far away from home. I remember meeting @diljitdosanjh paaji in his vanity for briefing, and that instantaneous energy and ‘aura’ transfer and the hit of nostalgia is real. This project has been a journey, but reinforces that staying true to yourself, and being kind to people around you is the only way to thrive - much like the man here in discussion.It was such a joy speaking to him.
