@off_thedribble (Miami, Florida) and

"FANCY REWIND PT. 1: MAYBE WE AREN’T SO DIFFERENT AFTER ALL. I’m doing a FIVE-part recap series on some stuff I’ve been working on this past month and why I haven’t been Dungeons and Dragonning on this account like I usually do. Rest assured the D&D will be back in full swing mid-May and it will be epic! Thank you again for sticking around as I navigate and reflect on what has transpired on these past couple of months. (I will be doing a post on these things i.e. my coaching fam and program experience, my first IG live Q&A session about D&D, and my Twitch/podcast debut for a rpg with other designers at some point in the future so be on the lookout!)

Let’s start off by talking about this dope initiative by
@distantcollabs . Distant Collabs is a passion project by
@erickarbeling to match creatives across the globe and create a collaborative project during the quarantine. I was paired up with Alex of
@off_thedribble . Despite being on opposite coasts (I’m in California, he’s in Florida) and having vastly different interests, we found one thing we had in common. It was passion for our interests. For him, it’s basketball, and for me, it’s D&D. We bounced ideas back and forth and then settled on this phrase “For the Love Of the Game.” Basketball and D&D though miles apart, you can find passionate people on both sides that truly love it for what the game is. Props to Alex for contributing the dope illustration! That heart is so freaking realistic I love it. For my part, I contributed the script lettering for the quote.

It was such a blast working with him. Sorry I had some delays getting this done my friend! Thankfully he was pretty cool about it and we finally got to share this with you all. Check out
@distantcollabs to sign up to match with another creative AND to check out the other collaborations. Thank you again Distant Collabs for connecting me with Alex! Check out his dope work
