Ottolinger is the brainchild of Swiss designers Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient. Launched in 2016, the directional label formed after the pair met at the basel school of design. Now based in Berlin, Ottolinger’s raw, subversive aesthetic has garnered industry-wide attention. Across the collection, immaculately finished products are intentionally slashed, burned, and manipulated into unconventional forms.
Ottolinger channels Berlin’s creative energy, pieces shaped by raw and hands-on experimentation. Ottolinger’s ethos is rooted in instinct creation that begins with the hands, where material and process shape ideas directly. Born from genuine connection, the brand treats collaboration as something alive, giving each piece an intimacy and intention that feel immediate.
Ottolinger creates garments that carry a sense of strength. Pieces that offer confidence and protection, forming a subtle kind of shield, reminiscent of an older sister’s steady support.
