Great experiences aren’t just seen, they are felt.
When @supper.supper brought us their vision for @stockx ’s 10-year anniversary branded pop-up, the goal wasn’t just to build a space but to create something people could step into, explore, and remember.
Together, we transformed 1001 Woodward in downtown Detroit into an immersive retail experience that brought the StockX brand to life for three days.
Supper, a Detroit and New York-based creative agency, led the vision.
Display Group brought that vision into the real world by turning design into a fully realized environment people could walk through, interact with, and shop.
From custom fabrication and retail buildouts to integrated AV, lighting, and interactive elements, every detail was built to support the experience.
• Nearly 700 products on the floor.
• Hundreds of guests moving through the space.
• One cohesive brand moment that people didn’t just see, they experienced.
We are proud of our team’s production and grateful for the partnership with Supper (and StockX).
This is the kind of work we believe in: creating environments that connect people to brands in a real, tangible way.

Last December, the Army Navy Game delivered another chapter in one of college football’s most storied rivalries. With tradition, pride, and bragging rights on the line, the energy around the game went far beyond the field.
Display Group brought that rivalry to life in physical form. Our custom fabrication team created two full scale bobbleheads, one representing Army and one representing Navy. From early structure to final paint, the project brought together metalwork, woodworking, 3D printing, sculpting, and scenic finishing. Every detail was built in house, shaped by hand, and designed to stand tall on game day.
The finished pieces became fan favorites, adding a larger than life presence that matched the scale of the moment and gave fans a new way to connect with the experience.

At Display Group, our projects are only as strong as the hands that build them. Today, we’re thrilled to spotlight Justin Erion, a Fabricator and Install Lead in our Custom Fabrication Department.
Justin joined us four years ago, bringing a wealth of technical expertise from his 9-year background in automotive prototyping. Since then, he’s become a cornerstone of our shop, known for his precision and collaborative spirit.
For Justin, the best part of the workday isn’t just the tools, it’s the team. He thrives on the creative energy of collaborating with his colleagues to bring complex ideas to life. When it comes to his favorite projects, two stand out:
Socius Mecha: A creation that allowed for pure, fun, and high-level creative execution. Take a look here: https://lnkd.in/gjh_8eGQ
Michigan Central Station Grand Opening: As a lifelong Detroiter, Justin found it incredibly fulfilling to contribute to the revitalization of such a legendary historical icon. Here’s a BTS video of the project: https://lnkd.in/gsHpgkra
If he’s not working on an installation, you can often find him playing guitar with his band at venues around the city. And when he needs to recharge, he heads outdoors for camping trips or spends time tackling projects around his home.

Thank you, Justin, for your hard work, your talent, and your dedication to Display Group and the Detroit community. We’re proud to have you on the team!
From the tropical breezes of Hawaii, to the Lone Star spirit of Texas and the historic waterfronts of Baltimore, 2025 was a whirlwind of creativity, logistics, and “how did they do that?” moments. At Display Group, we spent the last twelve months crisscrossing the country to prove that while our roots are in Detroit, our reach is truly coast-to-coast.
This year’s highlight reel captures the incredible diversity of our work. We scaled up for massive, arena-sized graduations and intricate trade show builds, then pivoted to the fine details of exclusive VIP parties and high-energy corporate events.
All the while, we stayed grounded in our commitment to community. Our team brought vibrant streetscape art projects to life and partnered with inspiring organizations for charity events that made a real impact.
A huge thank you to the clients, partners, and visionaries who trusted us with their biggest moments this year. We’re already fueling up the trucks and refining the designs for an even bigger year ahead.
Press play to see our favorite moments from 2025! 🍿

🏒 Display Group Scores Big at Hockeytown Centennial FanFest!
When the Detroit Red Wings dropped the puck on their 100th anniversary celebration at MotorCity Casino Hotel, Display Group hit the ice with a winning lineup of design, AV, fabrication, and production.
From the interactive booths and challenges, to our custom display cases and a larger than life replica of the Stanley Cup, every element was built to keep fans skating through history, and had everyone cheering.
It was four days of pure Hockeytown magic, filled with legends, fans, and more smiles than a shootout win at the LCA.

This summer, Display Group teamed up with Bedrock Detroit to turn the 1200 block of Woodward Avenue into a playground for the imagination. The Creative Factory installation brought Detroit’s love of design and manufacturing to life with spinning sculptures, pulsing lights, and sounds that begged you to stop, listen, and smile.
Every piece was built to handle the hustle of downtown Detroit, including rain, sunshine, and curious hands. It quickly became a fan favorite, giving everyone from kids to commuters a reason to pause and play on their walk through the city.
The installation wrapped up at the end of October, but it definitely left its mark as one of Detroit’s coolest creative moments of the year.

🎉 125 Years of Building, Celebrating, and Creating.
When Mans Lumber & Home threw a party to mark 125 years as a 5th-generation family business, Display Group helped bring the celebration to life at Eastern Market’s Shed 3 for over 1,200 guests.
We designed and built a branded stage, a large custom logo structure, and a historical timeline highlighting MANS’s journey since 1899. From a step-and-repeat photo op to a marching band parade, cigar lounge, and live music, it was a night that honored tradition with a modern twist.
Congrats to the MANS team on 125 years of craftsmanship and community — and thanks for letting us be part of the celebration. For a closer look at the event and other memorable Display Group projects, check out our Case Studies page: https://lnkd.in/e2GsYSHd.
