3 little letters that are guiding the journey we’re on with Dispatch as we bring a relationship based approach back to distribution.
Founded in 2005 by a group of Danish whisky enthusiasts that included a doctor,
teacher, helicopter pilot, an assembly of engineers, and a butcher. Located on the
western region of the Jutland peninsula, the small but impressive distillery is only a
short trip south of the village of Stauning, lending its name to the distillery.
Stauning produce an array of malts, with a primary focus on Malted Rye and
Malted Barley, and some combinations of the two, such as in their Høst core
release;
‘harvest’ in Danish. Within their malted barley production, a portion of it is
dried with Danish peat and Danish heather in keeping with their dedication to
local ingredients. This makes it way into their Smoke release, and some is blended
with rye for their Kaos release, while their Rye release is a combination of
unpeated rye and barley grains dried using a traditional floor-malting process.

Renais is a modern interpretation of a heritage product – a 21st-century gin whose roots go back generations. Founded by siblings Alex and Emma Watson, whose family have a deep rooted connection with Burgundy wines and the beautiful countryside that surrounds them through their father Chris’ vineyards that were planted over 30 years ago. Born from winemaking tradition and created with upcycled grapes and featuring key botanicals of linden, acacia honey and rock salt, Renais is a distinctive gin inspired by the people, produce and provenance of Burgundy.

Each individual expression is a representation of a founder: Muyu Jasmine is a floral, fresh and luminous liqueur with secondary notes of Yuzu, Patchouli and Iris, created by Monica. Muyu Vetiver Gris is an earthy, woody and mystical liqueur, with the tropical grasses of Vetiver accompanied by tones of Timur, Cedarwood and Patchouli, created by Alex. Muyu Chinotto Nero is an opulent, zesty and lush liqueur, with Chinotto oranges in harmony with Chinchona, Cacao and Oak moss, created by Simone.
