AUFGLET TAIPEI is the brandโs first overseas store, conceived as a reinterpretation of AUFGLETโs
Seoul sensibility within a new urban and cultural context. Rather than repeating the visual language
of the Korean stores, the project was approached as a spatial re edit, translating the brandโs
established mood into a sharper and more contemporary rhythm for Taipei.
The interior is organised through some of the most immediate and recognisable colours, black, white,
red, and silver. Each colour is used with clarity to define atmosphere, zoning, and moments of
contrast throughout the store. From the entrance, a sequence of linear structures and clearly
articulated boundaries leads the eye deep into the space, expressing the chic and composed attitude
that has long defined AUFGLET.
More than a cafรฉ, the project was designed as a precisely framed environment where visual identity,
product experience, and lifestyle converge. The result is a space that preserves AUFGLETโs signature
coolness while presenting it in a newly calibrated way for Taipei. As the brand continues to build
momentum across Taiwan and the wider Asian market, with future expansion planned for cities such
as Paris, London, and New York, AUFGLET Taipei marks an important step in the evolution of a
distinctly branded cafรฉ culture emerging from Asia.
