We had a busy start to the year getting back to the grind, so we are a bit behind on this post, but late is better than never!
Subsentia turned 1 just before the NYE show with @undrgrnd_nc and @partlycloudync — what a phenomenal way to celebrate our anniversary. With well over 350 attendees and an amazing production setup, this event truly embodied the learning and growth that the Subsentia team has experienced over the past year.
We would not have been able to get this far without the help and advice of friends, both new and old. We just wanted to give you guys a huge thank you for everything over the last year!

From giving invaluable input to keeping us grounded and making sure we take care of ourselves as we are rushing around on show day, we wouldn't be where we are without your support.
Throwing shows would be nothing without the community that comes together to attend those shows. So a big ass thank you goes to each and every person who has come to out to support our events. Thank you for growing with us, we are just getting started and cannot wait to continue getting bigger and better with y'all.

Flintwick, a glitch-hop/electronic music producer hailing from Northwest Arkansas (Fayetteville area). His sound is best described as playful, experimental, and glitch-driven, incorporating unconventional elements like quirky sound bites, modular synth textures, and rhythmic surprises.

Pipe Leak - a lifelong musician and electronic music producer operating out of Jefferson, CO. He’s known for blending genres like drum & bass, dubstep, halftime, and glitch-hop, weaving together soundscapes that balance darkness and light, heaviness and gentleness

Discwasher is a DJ operating out of Winston Salem, NC. Co founder of Subsentia, his style is a good mix of deep bass, glitch hop, and electro funk. Grooves to wash your discs to. He will be rinsing an all CD set.

March 7th artist spotlight: @discwasher_@discwasher_ is one of the cofounders of @subsentia . His grandfather was the curator of the Historical Sound Recordings Collection at Yale University, restoring and digitizing vinyl to preserve the audio so that it could be shared far and wide. The name discwasher is based on a vintage record cleaning product, and like his grandfather, @discwasher_ has a passion for sharing music from his favorite artists with the world.
@discwasher_ sets are curated for each event he plays and are full of music from multiple genres, original mashups, and hidden gems.
