Weāre honored and grateful for this opportunity, as InterActivity brings together museum professionals from across the United States.
Next year, weāll showcase everything that makes Discovery Lab unique and wonderful and share how we spark joyful curiosity in the heart of Tulsa.

If youāre exploring Riverside, you may have noticed a new figure over by Swing Hill at the Gathering Place.
Meet Cyrus, a 10-foot-tall neon āgiantā, a creation by our very own exhibits team at Discovery Lab. Built in collaboration with the Gathering Place for their Route 66 Centennial Celebration, Cyrus is an homage to the Gas Giants along Route 66.
Heās named after Tulsa businessman and āFather of Route 66,ā Cyrus Avery, who played a key role to establish, pave, and promote the historic highway.
Weāre thrilled to partner with our neighbor for this special, historical celebration and look forward to many more projects together!

Kick off Motherās Day weekend with Discovery Labās Saturday Night Lab š
Tomorrow, weāre celebrating all caregivers in honor of Motherās Day.
During our extended hours, guests can grind dried flower petals to decorate customized cards. Then, when youāre done, take them home!
Elote Cafe and Catering will be open with us from 9:30 AM to 8 PM, and serving margaritas after 5.

Every year, we challenge hundreds of middle and high school students to dream up amazing new exhibit ideas for Discovery Lab. After the teams of students present all their ideas, and sometimes prototypes, we select a winning design and bring it to life in Discovery Lab. Bringing engineering visions to life here in Tulsa is made possible by the @hardesty_family_foundation .
