To my sweet Pepa Ann Brownš Although your true birthday was April 5,2011, you found me July 1,2011. From that day if anyone asked you were a July baby like meāØ
A true fighter, we rescued you as a puppy, but in all reality you rescued me. You taught me love, courage, resilience, & so much more. You carried me from high school, through college, and majority of my 20s.
As a puppy you were scared of the dark so I slept next to you on the floor. One day I decided you could sleep in my bed & from then on I never spent a night alone. You caught every tear, and smile. The heart shape spot on your tail always moving. We happy danced to 2pac because you were my little gangsta. Sipped our morning coffee watching the sunrise. Binged watched shows & we even watched doggie tv together for you. My boujee princess who love French fries, ice cream and whipped cream(hated the Chick-fil-A one)
Anywhere I could take you I did. Long walks in Huntsville State Park, the beach, college kickbacks, Karnack Texas, & all over the DFW & Houston metroplexes. You were my partner in crime; my road dog.
You over came so many battles in your life. We found you abused & brought you home. Torn ligament & healed on your own. A herniated disc where you couldnāt walk for 2 months & STILL healed on your own as we did PT together. You fought through so much to stay with me & Iām so thankful to you.
I knew this day would come, but I didnāt know how fast or soon. This week you started to not feel well and mommy did everything she could. Friday we went to two hospitals. Saturday we rushed you to Texas A&M small animal hospital at 1:30am. There you were diagnosed with lymphoma in the liver & spleen. No one saw it coming, no knew it would act this fast. I promised you Iād never leave you so I brought you home.
You fought your hardest to spend one more day with mommy. We did all your favorite things. From ice cream runs to sitting in the park, we slept in the grass in the backyard.
Today, mommy gave you the biggest hug and kiss. We layed in grass under a tree. We danced one last dance. I held you in my arms until the very end. My soul dog got her angel wings. I love you forever & alwaysš

āļøFavorite Bible Verse: Luke 1:45 āBlessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promise to her!ā
āļø What she hopes dancers will gain from her class: I hope dancers are able to gain an appreciation for the little moments. A lot of the time we are so focus on the big picture that we forget the ābutterflies of lifeā. Dance has so many beautiful subtle nuances that can be transformative..they just have to believeš¤
