Commissioner Woods served as a panelist at the @dcchamber 's 2026 Health Policy Forum, joining healthcare leaders, policymakers and community partners for a meaningful discussion on the District’s long term healthcare landscape. Centered on the theme “Continuing the Work – Shaping Tomorrow’s Health Together,” the forum explored health equity, Medicaid costs, market stability and strategies to strengthen cross-sector collaboration. Commissioner Woods shared insights on advancing health equity and improving health outcomes for residents across Washington, DC. Thanks to Moderator CareFirst EVP Ricardo Johnson and panelists DHCF Senior Deputy Director Melisa Byrd; Greater Washington Community Foundation President and CEO Tonia Wellons; DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority Executive Director Mila Kofman and DC Hospital Association President and CEO Jacqueline Bowens.
