Happy Disability Pride Month You lot loved the easy breakdown of the flag last year so it’s back again! ID: Disability pride flag (2021) with the following text over the corresponding stripes: sensory disability - green. Psychiatric disability - blue, non-visible/undiagnosed disability - white, neurodivergence - yellow, physical disability - red. Further text reads Charcoal - signifies those subjected to ableist violence, and representing protest. Diagonal band - represents the multiple barriers to navigate life. #Disability #Neurodivergence #DPM

And I know it’s not just me who feels this VD: Bailey crying, txt reads: Noah really wrote the summer anthem for people who learned how to take care of everyone’s feelings at the expense of their own. Those who learnt to mask to be palatable, and to minimise their own needs. For the late diagnosed who burnt out and are now trying to make sense of themselves #ADHD #Autistic #Masking #PeoplePleaser

I think this might revolutionise my life…. I say as I have said about a new note book 78328930 times before, but this time i’m working with my neurodivergent brain and trying to go past that initial dopamine hit I’m going to start applying this to areas of my life, so you may see that materialise… or not if the novelty has worn off 😅 stick around to see what happens ID1: Introducing the STICK method ID2: This isnt about habits, **It’s about externalising your executive functioning ID3: we don’t rely on memory,** we create systems that STICK ID4: Simplify, Take it out your head, integrate into real life, create cues, keep it flexible ID5: stick around to see this applied #ADHD #Autism #ExecutiveFunctioning #Systems

If trying harder worked… it would’ve worked by now. It’s not you. It’s your system. I’m (trying, and hoping the novelty doesn’t wear off) to use the S.T.I.C.K. Method to make life easier (without relying on memory): Simplify Take it out of your head Integrate into real life Create cues Keep it flexible Because your brain is for thinking, not remembering. This is how you reduce overwhelm and actually follow through. Welcome to Systems That Stick ♻️ Save this for when things feel harder than they should #adhd #autistic #systems #executiveFunctioning

If trying harder worked… it would’ve worked by now…. and i’m here for creating systems that actually work because i’m fed up of feeling sh!t and guilty for dropping new habits i’m trying to keep after a week, or less #Systems #Habits #ADHD #Autism #ExecutiveFunctioning
