International Women’s Day. My Mom not only taught me, but showed me what a “strong” woman is/was!!! From a young age she told me women can do ANYTHING men can do (many times better)!!!! Whether it was throwing a football 50 yards on a rope( and yes, she could do it!!!), crushing her Michelob twist off beer caps while having beers with the men, unscrewing jar lids (had to do it for Dad), mowing the yard, or BBQ’in. She would say “women don’t need men, but your Dad makes me a better woman.” I miss you Mom and wish you could see what women are doing now!!!! Steph, my Mom knew I needed a “strong” woman!!! There is so much of her I see in you!!! The way you teach our kids, especially Bama that women can do ANYTHING men can do (many times they do it better!!!). I so wish the 2 of you could’ve met!! My Mom would love ur strength, grit, and determination!!!
