The Belgian Pavilion shined at Expo 2025 Osaka 🇧🇪
Time to celebrate the success of the visitor journey scenography we created with our amazing partners @profirst , Showtex , @tempora_expo and @barco_nv for @belexpo_belgianpavilion !
With the conclusion of Expo 2025 Osaka, the Belgian Pavilion proudly closed its doors with not one, but two international recognitions.
Belgian Pavilion received the Silver Award – Director’s Choice at the World Expolympics Awards, organized by the Experiential Design Authority (TEDA) — and was also nominated for Best Medium Pavilion and Best Exhibit Display.
And the celebration doesn’t stop there!
From the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), Belgium was awarded the Bronze Award. Among strong contenders from around the world, Belgium was recognized for best interpreting the Expo’s overarching theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” through our very own story: “Saving Lives.”
This award celebrates not only the architectural and conceptual vision, but also the creativity, collaboration, and humanity that brought the Belgian Pavilion to life.
Beyond these recognitions, the Pavilion also welcomed over 800,000 visitors, reflecting the deep connection it created with audiences from around the world.
We also take this occasion to thank of Edouard Meier , La Boite, ADC Production, WePlay SRL and Deltalight for their contribution.

Yesterday marked the opening ceremony of The @grandegyptianmuseum (GEM) and Dirty Monitor contributed to this once-in-a-lifetime event with a video mapping show that illuminated the museum’s monumental façade in the presence of many distinguished guests, including His Majesty the King of Belgium.
A true celebration showcasing how history, art and technology can come together in spectacular ways.

Ce vendredi 10 avril 2026, la cité de fer a brillé de mille feux. Pour lancer les festivités du bicentenaire de @cristallerieduvalsaintlambert , Seraing a déployé les grands moyens et @quatremillemagazine était aux premières loges pour vivre ce moment suspendu, entre héritage industriel et création contemporaine.
Le site sérésien, plus ancien que la Belgique elle-même, entame une année de célébrations avec une programmation qui marque les esprits :
✨ L’immersion totale : Avec le spectacle "Cristal Vivant", le duo @luc_petit_ et @dirtymonitor transforme l’abbaye en un écrin de lumière XXL. Un mapping hypnotique qui fait vibrer les murs et raconte l’épopée du verre avec une intensité rare.
💎 Le prestige à portée de regard : L’exposition actuelle dévoile des trésors mondiaux, dont l’incroyable Vase des neuf Provinces. L’occasion de se rappeler que le savoir-faire de Seraing a voyagé des rives de la Meuse jusqu’aux palais des Maharadjahs.
🎡 Un week-end de fête : Dès maintenant, le site s’ouvre à tous. On quitte le protocole pour laisser place aux démonstrations de soufflage de verre, aux concerts en plein air et à la convivialité des foodtrucks. Un rendez-vous familial incontournable pour redécouvrir notre patrimoine sous un nouveau jour.

✨📰 Le coup d’envoi est donné.
Ce matin, le bicentenaire du Val Saint Lambert a été officiellement lancé au Château du Val, en présence de nombreux journalistes venus découvrir le programme et les expériences proposées au public.
Un engouement fort, à la veille de l’ouverture.
Derrière ce bicentenaire, il y a un collectif.
Des acteurs engagés pour faire du Val un lieu vivant, culturel et tourné vers l’avenir.
Ce sont eux qui ont pris la parole ce matin : Déborah Géradon, Bourgmestre de la Ville de Seraing, Stéphan Uhoda CEO de Uhoda Group, Alain Mager, Président d’Europa Expo, Luc Petit, Directeur artistique, aux côtés d’Orphée Cataldo pour Dirty Monitor, Nicolas Sools, Vice-Président de la Cristallerie du Val Saint Lambert, et John Jeanquart, CEO de Folks.
Puis, place à l’expérience.
Visite de l’exposition Cristal Vivant, immersion à l’Abbaye avec l’expérience immersive 360°, et démonstrations de soufflage de verre dans les ateliers.
Un aperçu concret de ce que le public découvrira dès demain avec le week-end inaugural.

And recently, we had another great occasion to celebrate how the Belgian Pavilion shined at Expo Osaka 2025. A few days ago in Brussels, at TheMerode , the entire Belgian Pavilion consortium came together for a closing event to look back on what we achieved as a team.
