Are you fascinated by the screen printing process and don’t know where to start? Join my beginner screen printing class @brevacreative , where I’ll walk you through all the basics of screen printing & you can leave with your very own custom printed garment!
We’ll go over:
- Screen printing tools & supplies
- Screen printing process, start to finish
- Coating your screens with emulsion & exposing them to create stencils
- Press setup & the actual printing
- Tips and tricks to make sure your new printed garment lasts for a long time!
All throughout the class I will also be discussing finer details of the screen printing process such as ink types and mesh count, so you can walk away with a solid understanding of screen printing basics! Feel free to bring your own garment (no polyester please!) and if you’d like to provide your own artwork, please email a high res 1-color file (no multi-color designs) to [email protected] no later than 48 hours prior to the class so I can review your design to ensure it’s suitable for the process & prep it for printing.

This is how I rescue dried out magazine transfers! Magazine & laser print transfers are one of the trickiest techniques to pull off in gel plate printing, so whenever I get a good one, I don’t want it to go to waste. However, I wasn’t able to print this one during the class that I made it in, so I took it home & made sure she ended up in a finished piece 🥰✨🫶🏻
