Welcome friends, turn your eyes to the night sky and gaze at the beauty of the Flower Moon 🌕 Our 5th full moon release in our Zodiac series is ready for your ears! 🎧♉️
Taurus plants its hooves in the soft Spring earth and says: not yet. Sit down. Eat something. The Flower Moon is named for the wildflower explosion across North America in May — columbine, lupine, bluebells, violets — you name it, the landscape going from green to gangbusters 🌼🌷
The Cheyenne had a different name for this moon:
Moon When the Horses Get Fat 🌾
Take a moment with that one.
Fire Horse has been running since Feb. — kicking in doors, hooves on fire. But even a fire horse has to eat. Taurus says stop, take a bite, and be nourished by the ground beneath you.
This full moon shines in Scorpio this time around opposing the sun in Taurus, activating one of the deepest axes in the zodiac: what you hold vs. what you release. What you’ve built vs. what needs to die so the next thing can grow.
The Osage called this the Moon When the Little Flowers Die — because those early scrappy wildflowers, the ones that pushed through rock last month, they give way now to the bigger growth that needs the space.
Full moons in Scorpio don’t let you hide. Whatever you’ve been composting in the dark — a truth, a feeling, a thing you know but haven’t said out loud — it’s coming up now. Let it happen.
Taurus wants to hold on. Scorpio says let go. The answer, is somewhere in between: hold what feeds you, release what doesn’t, and trust that you can tell the difference.
Meanwhile, Uranus just left Taurus after eight years and crossed into Gemini. The ground that felt solid has shifted. New convos are starting. New ways of thinking are arriving. Fire Horse lifts its head and sniffs the wind. Something’s changed. But it doesn’t bolt. Not yet. It chews. It watches. It gets strong.
Take care of your body this moon. That’s not a metaphor. Drink water. Go outside. Touch a tree.
Our changing world is asking a lot of us and Taurus season is the yearly reminder that you are an animal on a planet and sometimes the most revolutionary thing you can do is rest.
Fire horse will run again.
Gotta eat first though.

@dirtwire stands poised between ancient Mother Earth and modern technology, a blend of ethnomusicology and the psychedelic trance state, gut-bucket delta blues and what the band variously dubs “back-porch space cowboy blues, swamptronica, and electro-twang.” 🐊
Dirtwire plays an array of instruments both ancient and modern, including West African kamale ngonis, jaw harps, space fiddles, whamola basses, Rickenbacher electric 12 string guitars, bowed Banjos and mouth harps from around the globe, all interwoven into modern laptop beat creation. Hailing from the underground west coast electronic bass music scene Dirtwire finds itself at the forefront of experimental electronic music production mixing in their wide array of world instruments with sampled beats and 808’s. Dirtwire’s live shows are a communal psychedelic journey, ranging from down home boot stomping get downs, to bass and blues electronic mashups, to ethereal cinematic beat driven soundscapes. 🕺
